Innovation is at the core of Telecom-IT. Keep on bringing innovative solutions whilst continually striving to make further improvements is our mission. One of those improvements we strive for, is sustainability. However, sustainability is a broad concept. So, what do we mean when we say "we're sustainable"?
There is no one-size fits all
There is no one-size fits all concept when it comes to ensuring that a company has a sustainable strategy. Some companies are already far ahead, while others still need to find a good way to define where it needs to go.
For many start-up companies, sustainability is not a focus but at a certain point, several stakeholders will have questions about their environmental footprint. Telecom-IT, that is outgrowing the startup phase, is at that spot in its sustainability journey. So, we've decided to invest in a a series of goals to ensure we can bring sustainability to the next level in our company.
Because, we believe that Telecom-IT has the drive to tackle its sustainability and can continue to grow as a company in a sustainable way.
We aim to grow
Sustainability has the potential to simplify things and reduce complexity, if implemented correctly. In order to do this, a first step is to use an existing framework. Telecom-IT uses three goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to define what "sustainability" means for us. Each goal is closely related to our business strategy.
Good health and well-being
Our core is delivering an integrated digital experience to support both patients and care givers. Moreover, we optimize the operations of the healthcare institution to ease the life of caring personnel so they can focus on their core activities. In that way, we ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Decent work and economic growth
At Telecom-IT, we strive for a good work-life balance. The fact that our employes can profit from flexible hours, is proof of that. We stimulate a work hard - play hard culture to boost our employees productivity. The pin pong tables, billiard and at our office only play a small role in this. We've invested in dynamic lighting to increase melatonin; which is proven to boost self-confidence en positive energy.
Industry, innovation and infrastructure
We build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. R&D department Unmatched has a strong focus on the in-house development of hardware and software solutions. It’s mainly known for its innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. Innovative solutions from Unmatched are integrated by 25-8 and Multicap.
